MIWAH // CONSULTANT

 

Miwah Van, Managing Director and founder of Unvorsum is passionate about helping businesses succeed and getting them to apply an athlete's mentality to business to make it fun and keep them winning.

Miwah previously held the role of Head of Strategy & Business Development for Fitness First where she worked with the Global Executive team and Oaktree Capital on the Global rebrand. Prior to Fitness First, Miwah was a Management Consultant with McKinsey & Company. Her professional background combined with her background as an elite athlete across numerous sporting codes allows her to bring a unique perspective to strategy in business.

 

Miwah has represented 2 different countries in 3 different sports at the international level. She competed in Tae Kwon Do and JiuJitsu before turning her hand to Powerlifting, taking the weight lifting world by storm. Her journey through the sporting world has given her a 'never say die' attitude, which has transferred into the business world.

 

Her areas of interest include - Growth Strategy, Market Selection, Customer Segmentation, Customer Management, Sales & Marketing, Organisation Design/Culture Reset, Procurement and Cost efficiency.

MARK // CONSULTANT 

 

Mark also started his career with McKinsey & Company. He followed this up with a period working within a transportation company in New Zealand where he helped design efficient transportation methods.

 

Mark has since gone on to develop his skills further afield, embarking on a journey that took him across the globe, allowing him to test out all the key transportation modes.  Mark has travelled through 38 different countries, mastering 3 different languages in the space of 18 months. 

 

Mark is also a true believer of building and maintaining relationships:

Mark is passionate about bringing an analytical side to businesses. He aims to simplify key drivers so that it can be communicated effectively across the board. 

 

His areas of professional expertise include market selection and growth strategy, cost efficiency, pricing optimisation and process evaluation. Mark has particular interests in health, transport, education and sustainability.

YANA //  DIGITAL MEDIA

 

Yana has in-depth technical and commercial understanding of online video projects from concept to implementation across a range of industry sectors including finance, professional business services, government, media and entertainment. Her strengths include omni-channel digital strategy, content licensing, content monetisation and business development. 

 

Yana’s qualifications and awards include a degree in Film, Television, Media and Theatre and a National Photography and Visual Storytelling scholarship granted by Her Excellency the Governor-General Dame Silvia Cartwright.

 

Yana is a committee member of AIMIA (Digital Media Association) where she leads the AIMIA Video Industry Group. She works with the team to develop strategic initiatives designed to add value and develop the reach of AIMIA within this space. Yana has also been a member of the AIMIA award judging panel for the last 3 years.

 

In her spare time, Yana is a competitive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, enthusiastic photographer and a gourmet food enthusiast.
